Undergraduate

The Department of Turkish Language and Literature was founded in 1975.

There are two aims of the Department: First, educating specialists on Turkish Language and Literature and preparing them for postgraduate education; second, preparing students as researchers on comperative studies in the field of Turkish dialects and literatures.

The Department applies a four years undergraduate program. Graduate and doctorate programs were also applied in the Department in cooperation with Enstitute of Social Sciences of the Firat University.
